Clinic Project Update

I have traveled with another ministry as a medical missionary for five years. There has always been lines of people waiting to get treatment but there is always dozens left untreated. I began to ask myself what can I do to further help with medical care. So I began to pray and ask the Lord and he soon spoke to me with the idea of opening a clinic.

I began to wonder how I could manage all of this since I am only a regular person, but soon I was able to gather help and begin a project to build a well in order to give the people fresh water since most of the diseases I have treated have been from contaminated water.

We are currently at the finishing phase of the project to build a health center. For this endeavor, it was necessary for me to hold a second job. At present, the project is in need of medical equipment and building materials for the completion of the health center.

The clinic will provide:

  • three examination rooms

  • a small pharmacy

  • a storage area for non perishable goods ans clothing

  • education for preventive care for HIV/AIDS (volunteers will be needed)

  • regular clinic once a month on a weekend

  • local nurses and doctors from Zimbabwe to visit for open clinic twice a month on weekends

ACADEMIC PROGRAM

Names (Listed left to right):
Donald, Mao, Sean, Tafadzwa, Kellys

Currently in the Hamandishe Village there are no professional people so the Lord has placed it upon our heart to start an academic program leading to the bachelors of Science in Nursing and a bachelors in Education, so that when they graduate they can return to the village and contribute.

With the help of the Principle Admin. along with her teachers assisted us in choosing 5 students with academic potential to pursue the bachelor degrees listed above.

If anyone is interested we are asking for sponsors for the academic program.

Currently we provide for these students: uniforms, semester fees, and learning stationary.

Orphans in the Hamandishe Village

In the Hamandishe Village there are 23 orphans who live in extended family homes. We provide 8 food items everytime we visit: - sugar, flower, rice, dried, fish, cooking oil, tea, soap, and also clothing. When we initiated the program, we were providing this on a monthly basis, but we are not able to continue at this time since we are focusing on the Health Center. If you are so lead by the Lord you can sponsor by clicking the donate now link, here on our website

The pictures listed on the right are 7 of the 23 orphans living in the Hamandishe Village, more pictures of the others will be added soon.
