When I see the conditions under which the natives live it churns my heart. The clothes they wear, the houses they live in, the water they drink, the means of which they survive. It opened my eyes to see how much we in the western world are blessed yet many of us lack in our gratuity given to the Lord for all the benefits He has blessed us with. The next year, 2014, I went to Gutu, Zimbabwe and was accompanied by my husband Milton. The experience was definitely different; we were both were slated in the prayer room where most of the natives went after being treated medically. Several hundreds of these people accepted the Lord and many of them were delivered spiritually and cured of disabilities through the power of prayer. They accepted the Lord with open arms and were eager to learn about their Jewish roots; we informed them that their ancestry is linked to the Tribe of Levi the priestly tribe of the children of Israel. They became overwhelmed, some wept and others bent down and exalted the Lord as they accepted him as their Holy Father. While I was there I was thinking of the next time I would be able to return to them. I realized that I was commissioned to serve these people. In a matter of months, I returned to Zimbabwe again with my husband. This time it was to Mberengwa, Zimbabwe. The experience was greater, more satisfying, more gratifying. It was a blessing to speak to these people again. Along with the team we went with, we catered to the natives physically, mentally, socially, emotionally, and spiritually, fulfilling them the best we could. In return they extended hearts of gratitude. We give God thanks for the experience with the people Gondar, Gutu, and Mberengwa.
